PMO Flashmob at Project Challenge – 10th & 11th Oct

New date for the diary this Autumn – PMO Flashmob is back at Project Challenge – which takes place on Tuesday 10th October and Wednesday 11th October at Olympia in West London.

We have a stand again so it’ll be great to see you – stop by and pick up some of the latest ‘stuff’ we have plus have a chat with other PMO practitioners – we’ll provide the sofas so you can have a seat.

We also have a presentation planned – not sure which day yet but we’ll let you know as soon as we do.

The session is called The PMO Principles

Here’s what it is about:

We recognise that all PMOs are different – tailored to the businesses they support.  However, are there some underlying principles that should underpin any PMO?  We believe there are, seven in fact.  PMO Flashmob have been working closely with AIPMO to pull together empirical research, validated by practitioners to identify principles that apply to any/every type of PMO – temporary, permanent, project, programme or portfolio/ enterprise level.

Our presentation will take you through the seven principles, what they mean in practice – recognising the challenges to embedding them but looking at the benefits that can be achieved when they are.

Copies of the PMO principles will be available to all those who attend the session or visit us at the PMO Flashmob stand.

Project Challenge - LondonProject Challenge is free to attend – you can register now or at any time in the run up to the event – visit the Project Challenge website here

If you’re not familiar with it – Project Challenge is a project management exhibition with four streams of seminar sessions happening across the two days. We’re there waving the flag for PMO – but there are often other seminars which feature PMO as a topic plus the many exhibitors there have products and services which you will find of interest.
