The 2019 PMO Conference is now less than 2 months away! Taking place on the 13th of June.
There are places still available so if you haven’t already done so you can secure your place here.
Every year the PMO Conference features a full programme of PMO expert speakers from around the world, a dedicated exhibition hall of PMO products and services and of course the chance to network with you fellow PMO professionals. The day is 100% PMO focussed and is curated and designed for you, the PMO practitioner.
What’s in the Programme?
As mentioned above the programme for the 13th is full of PMO experts with diverse backgrounds and skill sets including: Carol Hindley (Houses of Parliament), Ellen Jarret (Ella’s Kitchen), John McIntyre (Ticketmaster) and many more. You can view the full programme on the Conference website.
3 keynote speeches will also be taking place throughout the day.
Dr. Robert Joslin will open the conference with his keynote: Pushing the Limits – Getting Outside of Your Comfort Zone. Can pushing the limits of your understanding of PMOs double the impact they are currently having in your organisation? What does it mean in terms of working outside your typical comfort zone and what are the implications for you and your PMO teams?
After lunch we then turn our attention to Felipe Mattei who is delivering the second keynote of the day: The PMO Hero – Storytelling in the Age of AI. With the rise of AI and the ever-increasing accessibility to automation services, what will the PMO do when projects which traditionally required a whole team to deliver move towards plug-and-play?
Ralph Finchett brings us the closing keynote speech: PMO 3.0 – Digital PMO: Complexities, Customers, Canines and Bi-lingual Chickens. We know the change environments we work in are getting increasingly complex and fast-paced, we hear it all the time but what is the PMO supposed to make of that, and more crucially, what should we be doing? We understand that digital is all the range, but isn’t that for all the smaller start-ups and trendy Silicon Valley hotshots?
