Heard about gamification, serious games and play? Ever used these techniques in your PMO role? We’ve got the perfect remedy for the January blues with the next PMO Flashmob in London.
We’re combining serious games and play with one of our most popular topics at the moment – Agile.
Specifically, this evening session is all about exploring the mindsets and behaviours that are commonplace with Agile projects and programmes. We’ll be playing to explore how by understanding these behaviours we can better deliver the right services and perhaps more importantly the right PMO approach.
We’re back at Ticketmaster HQ with Parag Gogate from Change Innovation Lab.
The session will use a blend of Collaboration in Action Game and LEGO® Serious PLAY®.
Collaboration in Action is a fast-paced game that helps groups and individuals explore mindsets and behaviours necessary for Agile to work effectively. This game introduces a new framework and vocabulary which results in creating a stronger and faster ways of working together supporting Agile projects and programmes.
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology is an innovative, experimental process designed to enhance innovation and business performance. It is based on research which shows that this kind of hands-on, minds-on learning produces a deeper, more meaningful understanding of the world and its possibilities. The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology deepens the reflection process and supports an effective dialogue – for everyone in the organisation.
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology taps into the human ability to imagine – to describe and make sense of the issues at hand, to initiate change and improvement, and even to create something radically new.
Thursday 25th January at Ticketmaster in Angel Islington, London.
The evening starts with doors open at 6pm. Gaming starts at 6.30pm and finishing at 9pm. The networking will carry on for a little while beyond that time at the popular Ticketmaster bar.
This is an excellent way to kick off the New Year with our first social event, something new to try and an experience of “learning by doing” plus pizza and the Ticketmaster Bar, what’s not to like?
