Chatting About The PMO Symposium

PMO Flashmob on TwitterWe’re back from PMO Symposium and we have so much ‘stuff’ we want to share with you. We’ll be working on that over the next few weeks but in the meantime we wanted to invite you to #pmchat which we will be hosting on Friday 18th November at 5pm UK time for a hour.

What is #pmchat?

#pmchat is an hosted, one hour session on Twitter where project people from around the world come together to share their insights, thoughts, smart links to stuff and other chitchat. It starts at 5pm UK time.

Each week there is a different theme.

This week it’s the PMO Symposium and what we’ve learnt there. The questions will all be related to the conference.

The host for the hour session for that week posts up a question and includes #pmchat on the tweet. That’s us – PMOFlashmob. It will be me (Lindsay) and Eileen Roden sharing the question duty.

Project people from around the world then respond with their thoughts and answers, also including #pmchat on the tweet.

The questions keep coming, and people keep contributing.

It’s a great way to learn something new and of course connect to other people too.

If you’re on Twitter yourself, you can just dive in and contribute.

If you’re not on Twitter, you can click on the #pmchat and read it. It’s better to read from the bottom up. I’ll bet you’ll be itching to join in so why not set up an account beforehand?

Friday 18th November is PMO Flashmob on #pmchat

At 5pm on Friday 18th November, PMO Flashmob is going to host #pmchat for the second time and it would be great if we have a strong PMO contingent.

Stick the date and time in your diary and try it out.

It’s a bit different and it’s really what Twitter should be all about.

Now might be the time to try it out?
